How Belzo checks
Belzo doesn't just give you a number. Belzo helps you know who to call and what to check before you call.
What “checked” means
- On the date shown, Belzo checked that the details come from an official source.
- Checked does not mean guaranteed: Belzo does not guarantee a company's prices or the quality of its work.
Companies and public services
- Phone numbers, forms and addresses are taken from the organisation's official website.
- Each page shows its source and the date of the last check.
Tow companies and home professionals
- The phone number and address are published on the company's own website.
- The company is active in the Belgian company register (BCE/KBO), at that address or under that name. Once this check is done, the company number is shown on the listing so you can check it yourself. Some checks are still in progress.
- No “relay” sites: one page per town, a number forwarded to an unknown call centre, no real address… If in doubt, Belzo leaves it out.
- The list is not exhaustive: fewer names, but reliable ones.
What Belzo never does
- No company can pay to be checked, listed or ranked higher.
- Tow companies are ranked by distance only.
- No advertising, no selling of your data. Your location stays on your phone.
An error? A problem?
- Write to contact@belzo.be or use the “Report an error” link on each page.
- Belzo checks again. If the problem is confirmed, the page is corrected or removed. Reports are never published as such.
Before you call a professional
- Ask who is comingThe company name and its company number (BCE/KBO).
- Ask for the total priceCall-out fee, labour, night or weekend surcharge, VAT included.
- Ask for written confirmationBy text message or email, before any work starts.
