Privacy

Belzo is free and never asks you for an account. Here is exactly what happens with your data.

Who is responsible

  • Belzo is a free service published by VELYS LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under number 17503787, with its registered office at 25 North Row, London W1K 6DJ, United Kingdom.
  • For any question about your data: contact@belzo.be.

What Belzo does not do

  • No account and no sign-up.
  • No advertising.
  • No cookies and no tracking. We count visits anonymously (Cloudflare Web Analytics, cookie-free): totals only, without identifying anyone.
  • Belzo does not sell or share any data.

What stays on your device

  • “My requests”, your favourites, your reminders and your moving checklist are stored only on your device (phone or computer). They are never sent to Belzo.
  • Your language choice is also stored on your device, and a copy of the pages is kept so that Belzo works offline.
  • You can erase everything at any time, from “My requests” or by clearing the site data in your browser.

Your location

  • Belzo only uses your location if you tap “Use my location” on the Roadside assistance page, and only after you allow it.
  • It is used, on your device, to find the nearest town. It is never sent to Belzo or stored.

Hosting

  • Belzo is hosted by Cloudflare. As with any website, the server technically receives the IP address and browser type in order to display the pages and protect the site against attacks.
  • Belzo does not use this information to identify you.

When you leave Belzo

  • When you call, email or open the website of a company or public service, their own privacy rules apply.
  • If you write to contact@belzo.be (for example to report an error), your message is only used to answer you and correct the information.

Your rights

  • You can ask to access, correct or delete data about you by writing to contact@belzo.be.
  • You can also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
  • Listed professionals (tow companies, locksmiths, plumbers…): their details come from public sources (Crossroads Bank for Enterprises, their own website). They can ask at any time for their listing to be corrected or removed at contact@belzo.be.
