Many drivers are covered without knowing it: car insurance (assistance option), Touring, VAB, new or lease car. Check before calling a random tow company: it can save you 150 to 300 euros.

Recent or lease car? The assistance number is often on a sticker (windscreen, door), in the service book, on the fuel card or in the brand's app.

Before you call a professional

  1. Ask who is comingThe company name and its company number (BCE/KBO).
  2. Ask for the total priceCall-out fee, labour, night or weekend surcharge, VAT included.
  3. Ask for written confirmationBy text message or email, before any work starts.
